My name is Franceso Verde, I was born in the province of Napoli in 1974. I live in the province of Caserta, where my dream became true making my passion a job.
I have always been fascinated by photographing since I was a child. I exactly remember my first encounter with an analog SLR camera and when I started developing negatives in the darkroom.
From the shooting to the printing of pictures it was like playing with my chemistry set. Analogue photography has been a great school and gave me the opportunity of a different approach to the digital picture. So, I approached to the study of photography and to its incredible forms of expression.
During the last years I travelled a lot, and the camera was my life partner.
My photographic reportage started when I combined my two great passions: travelling and shooting.
Travel and photography
Camera has the power of freezing a moment: the picture stop the time and makes it infinite. Words are not necessary, images tell stories. Shooting is my way to tell storie. Indeed, there are not many words in my travel diaries, but you can find small captions to explain intense images.
I am an attentive and curious spectator, trying to catch those moments that make unique every single story, and so I also approached marriage reportage. I like showing real life, I love catching spontaneity, moments, sensations and gesture full of genuine emotions.
In the last few years I found in shooting landscapes an inexhaustible source of inspiration. So, I keep on searching for starry skies, Aurora Borealis and new fascinating landscapes.
Shooting involved me emotionally, it is a passion a desire to discover, to catch moments and images, it is like falling in love with life evey day.
In the end, I let my pictures do the talking!
